Team Strengthening Course (2)

1. No, I don't intend to leave the kids with the new maid for 3 whole days just like that. Hubby agrees that our current maid is not that reliable. Even my SIL who is not that 'expert' when it comes to having maid could tell that our current one is not that reliable...

2. Plan A was to ask Ayah to take all three boys+ maid to stay temporarily in Kampung Tunku while I attend the course in Banting. After all, Ayah had already stated that he would like to pick up Huzaifah to spend the weekend in Kampung Tunku. Hubby agreed - subject to my parents' agreement. And this morning Ayah had already call to check with us - and Ayah agreed to pick up all three kids and the helper this evening, alhamdulillah.

3. Should Plan A failed, Plan B was for hubby to take all three boys+ maid back to Rasah since he has to attend a family meeting on Saturday. At least MIL could help in watching after the boys. That's a better option than just leaving the kids at home with the maid.

4. The course is compulsory for officers from middle management and above in the Department. That equals almost 70 officers (+10 organising committee members). It's not like I'm pregnant/have critical illnesses so that I can be excused from attending it. And there's no other like-course to be held in the near future - just one off. I have to attend it not because I asked for it. I was ordered to attend it.

5. And it's not like I am the only one with kids among the attendees of the course - other female officers have to make arrangements/adjustments for their kids during the weekend too.

6. I am a mother of three. When it comes down to it - children always come before career. That's why hubby and I discussed this before. That's why we have agreed not to leave the kids just with the maid when I am away for the weekend. It simply cannot be done, and we both knew that.
